Faroudja introduces powerful new FPP-50HD20 Home Theater Plasma Display Package.

The Display Package combines Faroudja's advanced new DVP1500 Digital Cinema Source Home Theater processor with a 50-inch plasma display monitor "Theater Optimized" by Faroudja engineers for exceptional performance and simplified installation.

The DVP1500 marries a DVD drive with a full-featured Faroudja video processor to optimize the digital quality of both the audio and video elements of DVDs. It also processes all other analog sources and send all signals to the display via a pixel-accurate DVI output. Faroudja's patented technology deinterlaces and optimizes the digital video signal, and scales it to the display's native resolution for stunning video images.

The plasma display boasts exceptional 1366 x 768 resolution, the newest plasma technology, improved contrast ratio and an expanded menu structure.

The Plasma Package is now beginning to ship. The suggested price is $23,995 with DVP1500, and $17,995 paired with Faroudja's NRS-DVI Video Processor, which is also available.
