up to 14 games each week. In addition to every Sunday afternoon 1 p.m.

July 14, 2004 (TORONTO, ON) - Bell ExpressVu and CBC News today officially
launched CBC News Plus, Canada’s first-of-its-kind interactive TV
news service featuring on-demand news by simply using a TV remote control.
Exclusive to Bell ExpressVu subscribers with interactive receivers, the
new service allows users across Canada to access up-to-the-minute domestic
and international news, as well as other late-breaking news from www.CBC.ca
such as business information, arts coverage, and special features.
"CBC News Plus gives viewers access to the latest news quickly,
without waiting for a newscast or booting up the computer to check on-line
news. Just browse the headlines and hit 'Select' on the remote to go deeper
for full text and pictures. It's fast and easy: if you already subscribe
to Bell ExpressVu, you can use this service—it’s just that

To use the new service, viewers access Bell ExpressVu’s interactive
launch-pad on channel 275 and click on CBC News Plus. Users can easily
navigate through a variety of stories by scrolling through text and images
with the arrow keys on their remote.
